ovulation - cycle out of wack

These ovulation tests are 2 weeks apart, first one was the strongest I got (this was when I should of been ovulating) yesterday I started spotting which I also read may be a sign of ovulation so I took one now (the second photo) am I wasting my time or should I try again tomorrow and see if it gets any darker? Since coming off BC my cycle is confusing me so a lot
