I've been talking to a guy for a few weeks and his birthday is coming up soon (May 14th). I asked him if he had any plans and he said he didn't, in fact he said it'll probably just be like any other day which kinda sounds super sad to me so I want to do something for him. I don't want to throw a huge surprise party or bake him a cake because I'm not THAT friendly with him yet. We're better described as acquaintances. I just want to do something small to improve his day a little and make it more special. The problem is May 14th happens to be Mother's Day in Australia so I have plans with my mum already. Any ideas?
