abnormal spotting?

Hi everyone! So I am not supposed to get my period for another week at least but for the past ~5 days or so I've been heavy spotting? Some of it is dark brown, which I've had before, but twice now it's been bright red...I know some spotting during ovulation is normal, and I was spotting last week, but I'm just wondering if this is normal? Im not sexually active so this is definitely not implantation bleeding and I'm not usually a spotter...any thoughts?
