Would you stay in a sexless relationship with someone you loved?

For example, if your partner is asexual but you aren't. Would you be able to stay in such a relationship? Or is sex too important for you? Would it help if you really loved them?

I told my boyfriend of 4 years before we started dating all those years ago, that I literally can't have sex, I have endometriosis, vulvodynia and vaginismus (3 sexual pain conditions) and my vagina can 98% of the time be a no go zone. He didn't care, he said sex isn't everything. Don't get me wrong we do sometimes have sex, after a high mantaince ritual to get me prepared. It's not often, maybe once every 6 months, but he says that everytime we do it is like the first time. It feels amazing and it's special cos it's not something that happens all the time. We still do other sexual things, particularly the ones without penetration. But I do feel bad I don't like sex. He says he honestly doesn't really think about it unless I bring it up. So it's nice we both have pretty low libidos. I did recently purchase a flesh light for him. We use it when he's in the mood and it in too much pain to have sex. He likes it. So basically sexless relationship isn't a deal breaker. We've been together for 4 years and he's happy, I'm happy.

I hope this post gets a lot of notes because I'm currently in this situation myself. My boyfriend of two years has started having problems with ED so we literally NEVER have sex anymore. He's only 22 and I'm 20, there's no reason we should be having these issues at this young of an age but yet here we are. Anyway, we live together, we own a puppy and a cat together, he's my best friend in the entire world and the only person I want to be with. BUT this being said, I have the highest sex drive in the world. We used to have sex like 2-3 times a day the entire first year and a half of our relationship and now nothing. I love my boyfriend more than anything but I'm having such a hard time grasping the idea that we may have problems having sex for the rest of our lives.
