No i hymen can bleed from riding a bike, a horse, or just if youre active. Not everyone bleeds though. I did when a guy fingered me before actually having sex

Fiction! In fact hymens don't need to tear at all and the first time doesn't have to hurt. It's a complete myth that has no basis in reality, but people still believe it. If there's enough lube and foreplay, unless the woman's hymen is abnormally large and covers most or all of the vaginal entrance or the woman has a condition like vuvlodynia or pelvic dysfunction disorder, the first time shouldn't hurt at all. In those cases, talk to your health professional and the can help - and get a second opinion if they don't! Vulval pain isn't normal, and if someone tells you it is, they're wrong.
