About a year ago (June) I got an IUD, after it was misplaced and an unfortunate trip to the emergency room later that day, I seemed to never run into problems, other than the usual spotting and cramps for the first few months, until recently. I know that the cramps and spotting are normal for the first few months, but once October came around everything went away, no cramps, no bleeding, perfection. Starting about a month ago (April) I've had random cramping. It's not often and it's not that intense but it's annoying. It's usually only on one side and feels almost like a stabbing pain which doesn't make sense because if it had punctured me, I would only ever feel it on one side. There's also been 2 or 3 days in the recent time span that I've had spotting. It's completely out of the blue and I have no idea why it's happening. I would go to a doctor but broke college student. Any ideas on what it could be? And is this serious enough that I should find a way to see a doctor??
