"low" amniotic fluid?!

Question

At my last appointment we did a growth ultrasound. I'm 32 weeks. I guess my amniotic fluid was measuring around 8. She said it's on the lower side of normal. 5 is the point we don't want to be at.
Of course I googled it and saw causes being anywhere from hydration status to birth defects. Among the outcomes were c-sections and early (like 33 week) delivery. Now I've got myself all worked up. We will do a repeat ultrasound in a week. Anyone have any experience with this?

I had this with my first 9 years ago and she's perfectly fine I had to go for growth scans and I was induced at 37 weeks also had vaginal birth everything was ok for me try not to worry I know it's hard but definitely don't use Google because it only makes things appear alot worse then what it is x

I had low amniotic fluid with my first, I was set to be induced but went into labor on my own at 39 weeks 1 day & had a healthy little boy. Don't worry too much until your fluid drops to the critical level. Just keep your self hydrated & don't stress! Good luck!

I'm dealing with low fluid and I'm only 22 weeks. It's more common in the 3rd trimester. Just trust your doctor. Stay hydrated and stay off google!
