Irregular blerring after stopping birth control

So I was on birth control for three years. I had one depo shot three years ago, then went on Tri-Sprintec for over two years, and then switched to Nortrel for 2 months. I ended up stopping my pill because of the horrible side effects I was having. I waited until the end of the pack and had a light 3 day period. Well, now it's two weeks later - I'm mid cycle and and I'm bleeding again. It's bright red/sometimes pink blood and enough for me to wear a pantyliner. This is my second day bleeding.

Does this sound common from coming off birth control? I know a lot of people miss their first couple periods, but this is completely opposite.

Im also tracking my ovulation days because i dont want to become pregnant. Am I supposed to track this as a period, or just mark it as spotting?
