confused

I am having so many symptoms of pregnancy but I still have a negative test I've been taking ovulation test and it shows two lines but the box says it's not ovulation unless the test line is the same color or darker than the other line I just need advise on how all this works I'm new to the testing bbt and ovulation stuff in general with my fist son we just had sex and tested a few weeks later but since it's been a year and still nothing I'm getting frustrated
