Am I pregnant?

My period is several days late and my breasts hurt. I have taken one pregnancy test that came up as invalid. I took another one that had one faint blue line in the pregnancy part. I was not sure if I was expecting. I went to my doctor and took a urine and blood test. The results were negative. I got home and started having cramping and brown blood discharge. Any advice or tips on what is going on?
