No there are both male and female comedians. Can men say things that if a woman said would be considered bitchy? Yea. Are there gaps because comedy is not something a woman can get into easily? Yep. Comedy is the engineering of the arts 😂

That doesn't depend on gender it depends on personality traits...who ever said they are funnier have not had very many funny women in their lives. Doesn't mean that they don't exist.

Gonna be honest here, unprofessionally, males and females can be equally humorous. When it comes to professionally, I have never, ever, liked one single female standup comedian because their material is always gender related and it's not funny at all to me. The one single female comedian I find insanely funny is Kaitlin Olson and she doesn't even do live comedy. But, humor is subjective, so I guess whatever floats your boat.

In my limited circle of friends I think guys are more funny because I grew up with more brothers. I can relate to guys sense of humor more. My SIL's think they're hilarious but all they do is quote movies to each other and after a while, I'm like, "yeah, that was a funny movie, it's even funnier when you are actually watching it." 😬
