Long ass period. When to see doctor?

Hi! I have been on my period since April 29th, and it's May 12th and it's still here. My therapist said it's normal, but said wait a few days and if it doesn't go away, see a doctor. How long do you guys think I should wait?

Normal periods last 2-7 days. You are way past the normal. I would see a doctor soon. You may have a hormone imbalance or another condition that is causing longer periods. Nothing to be scared about, but definitely not something that is "normal". Good luck!

I had a period that lasted a month one time. I went to the doctor after a month. Nothing was wrong with me, it stopped after that and was normal every time after that. I say make the appointment whenever you want/need. Sometimes periods are just off.
