Hi. So I've missed my period by two days and I'm stressing out. My stomach has been hurting a lot. I live in Texas and I'm 16. Does a parent get notified if I go to a clinic and ask about abortion methods if necessary?

I would wait a few more days to see if your period comes, especially if you're having stomach cramps. I think as you are 16 you might be able to have an abortion or go to a clinic without parents consent (that's what it's like in the UK) but I'm not sure about the US!! Definitely speak to a trusted adult or friend
