Diva cup help

so i got a diva cup a while ago cuz my periods are always light and i'm kinda an environmentalist lol. i've put it in a few times and it's a little uncomfy but i think i'd get used to it. i'm mostly just worried about cleaning it??? especially in a public bathroom, like am i supposed to clean it in the sink in front of everyone??
