Will caffeine reduce fertility chances?

Question

I would really love to know if having caffeine will reduce fertility chances. I'm a coffee drinker and I drink one or two cups a day. My husband complains that I drink too much. I don't smoke or drink alcohol and I exercise almost everyday. My diet though is moderately healthy.

We started trying this month and I don't want to risk any chances of getting pregnant. I'm 38 this year and it will be my first baby if I'm pregnant. 🤞🏻and I really want to get pregnant.

I'm English, I love a good cuppa tea but when TTC I just drank water mainly and ate really healthy as i did read it can affect fertility. And when I got pregnant I couldn't stomach a cup until about a week ago I was 10 weeks along. And now I only have 1 every other day or so to not take any risks

I'm current 30 weeks pregnant. Before conceiving i drank probably 6 shots of espresso every day! Everyone's body is different but caffeine didn't make it hard for me to conceive. Good luck!

I am a huge coffee drinker and was preggo first time off birth control without trying. I don't feel the caffeine had an effect, I did cut back after being preggo though.

I mean it couldn't hurt- you would have to cut back when you're pregnant anyway. I did find this article though:

The recommended amount is not more than 16oz of coffee or 200 mg of caffeine daily. More than that can be detrimental. Good luck.
