Announcing

Did anyone announce their pregnancy in a different way other than stupid Facebook ? I feel like everyone's lives revolve around Facebook that they feel like nothing can go unsaid unless it's posted there . I don't even have a Facebook . I just feel like people feel the need to announce everything on FB . Did anyone do card announcements through the mail or something like that ?
