confused about my discharge, help

I started birth control about three months ago. And I've taken it to skip my period as well. This past week however, I've been having a little bit of diarrhea and I've had spotting, which I thought the spotting was normal. But then I started getting a weird discharge. It was really thick (similar to the blood clumps from a period) and dark brown. It's been happening for about three days now along with really dark spotting. I am 19 years old, been on bcp for about three months, sexually active and idk what other relevant info to add. I'm just wondering bc it's never happened before, at least not like this. Should I add a pic??
