Mold Spores in bottles?

Question

So we had 2 bottles in our sink waiting to go into the dishwasher. Like we hadn't rinsed them- they were just sitting there.
It hadn't been a full 24 hours (maybe 12-16) but the bottles were filled with small mold spores!!
I cleaned them, boiled them, and ran them through the dishwasher. 
I am so worried- is it because I just had them sitting??
Are the bottles still safe? We use glass bottles but the nipples aren't glass obviously.
We use nutramigen ready-to-feed.
My baby isn't acting any sicker than usual so I'd say nothing happened to her??
I'm so terrified I really want to cry. I feel like I've really messed up!
Ftm with severe anxiety issues so please don't say anything to make me too worried 😔😔😔

I wouldn't continue to use the bottles. Not worth the risk... toss them and buy some new ones

I would think boiling them should be fine esp since they are glass. I always rinse my bottles as soon as possible w hot water then sit them in the sink. Even if I'm not going to wash them immediately at least milk isn't sitting in them.

I always leave bottles on the side but rinse them out soon after she's finished feeding and never had mould (or at least never noticed it!) So it was probably because the milk was still in there. I also sterilise my bottles once they've been washed so maybe look at sterilising them.

You're good you boiled them. I also use baby bottle soap and extremely hot water. It will be okay, stuff happens.

Our have done that too. I just wash really well and then boil. They are fine after that.
