When is it "safe" to tell people you are pregnant?

I had a miscarriage August of last year and I got excited and told everyone I was pregnant as soon as i found out. When I had my miscarriage i was 4 months along. So I was just wondering when you ladies thought it was okay to tell people. :)

When you feel comfortable telling people. I had a miscarriage April 2016. So when I found out I was pregnant again I wasn't ready to tell everyone yet. I told my parents at 12 and 13 weeks and I announced on social media at 17 weeks.

When you feel the time is right. There's no right or wrong time.

A lot of women wait until after 12 weeks because the risk of miscarriage goes down. But we never know what could happen unfortunately, and you just have to live in the moment.

We announced on Easter Sunday when I was 8 weeks. At 13 weeks, we lost our baby but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise so I am not going through it alone. My support system is amazing and truly compassionate.

With my first I was already almost in the second trimester when I found out so I told everyone right away but as a general rule we wait to announce until we are at least into the second trimester. With family maybe a lil before like after the first doctor's visit but it's personal preference
