Pit Bull puppy with newborn?!?!

Question

I need some pit bull moms or just anyone who has owned one before to help me out. I have grown up with German shepherds and poodles and I love all dogs. However, my fiancés mom came across a pit bull puppy that was going to get sold at petsmart if it didn't find a home and begged my fiancé to adopt it if she paid. He and I talked about it and I agreed. But I honestly have never met such a bad ass little dog. I know HE IS A PUPPY but he has the worst personality to me. He's sneaky, he's defiant and just has no chill all the time. He's six months old and I'm wondering if he will be okay when he have a baby in September? I just honestly don't know because I've never had one.

Ask yourself what personality this puppy has 
1. Do you have the time / money for corrective training before the baby comes
2. Will you and your hubby follow through with training 
3. Puppy as always cute and they get into normal puppy trouble but agression and dominance are NEVER a characteristic I would allow in my home around my children. 
4. Just because a dog is dominant in personality doesn't mean it's a bad dog just may not be the right personality fit for you family/child. So keep that in mind 
5. If you decide to keep the puppy make sure you yourself are prepared and trained on how to handle stronger personality in pit bull the last thing you want is to have to re home a dog you've fallen in love with but is now not a postive family member

Regardless of breed when you see negative personality traits you need to see it as a warning and decide if you and your family can really commit to the best life for this animal and is this the best animal suited for you and your family .

I've had multiple breeds and family has many pit bull but growing up around you can see some are mellow easy going and some unfortunately are bit stronger hard headed which for me personaly wouldn't be the best fit :) either way I wish you all the best in your decision.

I got my pit bull when my first daughter was 6 months old. Since then we had another little girl who is 18 months now and have a third on the way. My pit has some horrible traits he is disobedient at times still chews constantly and is extremely stubborn. However with that being said he's also the most gentle and patient dog I have ever seen around any children. As much as he has some negative traits the way he interacts with my kids out weighs anything bad he could do!! He allows these girls to do anything to him and never minds a bit!

My female pit is 2 she follows my boys every where she even rides with us just about every where she is very protective of them she sleeps in their rooms half the night in one half in the other. The puppy try's to do what she does but is bad and don't listen at times so he wears a shock collar he's only been shocked once he gets warned and he listens then

I love my pit and I loved my pit who passed five years ago. They really need discipline and excellent training, just like children. Give the dog some time to adapt to you. You'll never have a more loyal, loving pet.
