Baby not going to see doctor until June...?

My baby turned 6 months on the 11th and is not going to be able to see a doctor for her shots and check up until June 23rd, so almost 8 months. There was no earlier date available. So... will she be ok? We are going on vacation June 1st to the Cook Islands. I was worried about her not being up to date on her vaccinations when we go. 
And if she gets her 6 month shots when she's 7 1/2 months, when does she get her 8 month ones? Ughhh!!

That's perfect normal. They usually do shots at 3,6,9,12

Is your child in daycare? My daycare requires vaccination records after each appointment. Maybe your doctor's office could get her in for her shots if you need them updates for daycare? If that isn't a concern, you are probably ok until 8 months without them. That does seem odd they can't get you in until then though. My guess is you won't have another appt after than until 12 months since the schedule is usually 3, 6, 9, 12. I wouldn't be overly concerned unless you need the vaccine updates for daycare or felt you really needed to discuss certain things with the pediatrician. You could always call questions in though.

Did you speak to you doctor about your concerns? We always schedule the next appt at the end of the one we just went to. She had her shots at 2 months, 4 months and her 6 months is scheduled for the 26th. She was born on the 23rd. If you tell them you're traveling maybe they'll be able to squeeze you in.

My lo was 6 months on the 11th as well, but won't get them until June 13. So just past 7 months. The Dr said it's okay that his next set will just be delayed a month, so he will get his 9 month shots at 10 months instead.

My daughters doctor doesn't do 9 month shots....? He told me she will get her 2, 4, and 6 month shots and her 9 month appointment will be a break, or catch up on shots we may have skipped. And then at her 12 month check up, she'll resume with the shots. Does anyone else's Dr do that?
