Is your husband lazy when it comes to work ?

Question

My husband doesn't have a stable job he wants a good paying job ($15+) and he's currently waiting on a call from a job that pays that much therefore he isn't getting a stable job at the moment. He talks about making big money , buying a house for us and getting me a car (we don't have vehicles, he borrows his dads). I am so frustrated with him. He lies about work and he doesn't use his time wisely. I thought all husbands liked providing for their family.

Absolutely not. My husband works hard to provide for us. Also so he can buy stuff for his truck. Haha

What are you waiting for when are you putting your foot down ? If his lazy is bc you're letting him be lazy. If his waiting for a job to call him his lazy ass can be working another job in the meantime. How are you paying bills if his not working ?

Nope 12 hour shifts for him, 10 hour shifts for me. We both pull up our adult socks and work hard for what we have

My husband's work ethic 🙌🏻. He barely  take days off.  He's moved up fairly quickly in his company just like he did in his previous company. What makes me more proud is that English isn't his first language and while it's not perfect it's pretty good considering he came to the USA at the age of 21.  He manages a group of marketing representatives and is always being recognized by the higher ups. I'm very lucky. Could not deal with a lazy/irresponsible man.

My husband works full time as well as over-time and we're TTC - no kids yet but we want to be prepared. We would both normally do 50-55 hour weeks. I was working the same level as him but I now have a lung injury which had me signed off for 2 months (and bored out of my skull at home). I managed to talk my boss into letting me do a couple of hours every other day and build back up because I don't want to miss any more work. Not lazy at all.

My husband is the same way ! He usually works seasonal jobs and when hes out of work he sits on his ass like people will call him instead of him looking for it hiself. I would say encourage him a little bit if it means waking his ass up to look for some type of job in the mean time. Something is always better than nothing. If he's not willing to do it then you need to have a serious talk and think whats best for you. Good luck !❤

There's nothing wrong with working a lower paying job until a higher paying one becomes available. Not being paid "enough" isn't an excuse to not work. Go to work, earn a pay check and keep trying to advance yourself.

My bf works 2 jobs. One he's worked for 9 years and then when he needed a better paying job he got another one. He makes $16.32 a hour. Works 10 hours a day and he gets an .80 cent raise every 6 months. And instead of quitting his first job he stayed with that. He just works that one part time

My fiancé has been a above and beyond hard worker. From tech school, to his job right out of high school from quickly climbing the latter to Forman. He's 21. He is very hard working, he loves hands on work.
