Storing store-bought baby food in freezer?

Can you put leftover store-bought baby food in the freezer? My baby can't finish the whole jar of it in 2 days. He just started eating solids and doesn't each much. I don't wanna waste it.

As long as you aren't feeding straight out of the jar, I would think that storing the leftovers would be okay. If you feed straight out of the jar the food can began to breakdown from baby's saliva.
