Asking for pads/tampons when you're cramping, is it wrong to ask?

When I start cramping I worry.. so today I saw another girl my age go into the restroom so I went in after her and asked for a pad/tampon and she handed me one as I don't have one on me. I didn't start my period yet. Is it wrong to ask?

No, because you could've started it any time. I've had people ask me and I don't think much of it. Unless it was all the time.. because they're expensive.

Nope. I had to ask some lady at the airport bathroom for one because I started right before I had to get on my flight 😑 wasn't due to start for another 2 weeks (I would have been back home by then. So I didn't bring any tampons).

And I've also had people ask for them before. I think nothing of it and just give them a few, if I have them.

But I'm also the type of person that always carries bottled water in my car to give to homeless people when I see them. So maybe it's weird for other people? Idk. You need what you need.

Girl this is the reason I keep pads & tampons in my purse at all times, if I go into the bathroom and a fellow woman is in need I want to be able to offer her anything she may need:) just remember repay the favor one day!

Maybe keep some on you now to pass along the kindness lol. Periods can be the most unpredictable things sometimes

Not wrong to ask . I have asked before and I always keep extra on me to help other ladies out . I don't think any less of someone for asking me for a tampon . It's completely normal and nothing to be ashamed about !
