placenta pills?

I've been looking into getting my placenta made into pills after the baby is born, I'm just curious and I've read the health benefits can be brilliant. I was just wondering if anyone else is doing anything similar or has already done it? ☺️

I wanted to do this until my OB advised against it. I trust him so I chose not to, he's delivered over 5,000 babies and been an OB for 30 years. He said you really have to look into how they are dehydrating the placenta because if you choose a place that isn't doing the process correctly it can cause infections and it's just not worth the risk. He advised me not to eat it or do pills. I was surprised since I had heard good things about it but I trust he knows more than I do lol

I did it.  I just started taking them today hoping they help with my mood.  I thought it was worth the try!

I did it. On day 2 of the pills and I definitely notice the improvement of my mood/energy

I'm doing it. The thought is kind of unpleasant to me but I'll try anything that can ward off postpartum depression, as I have a depressive personality. I just made sure to find a professional.

I'm 3 weeks postpartum I take my pills everyday. I feel so much better. It helps boost my mood. Plus it helps me with iron. It helped me with my milk production. Here is a picture of what my pills look like.

I'm doing it. I'm a FTM and my sister did it with both babies and swore by it. She said it helped with milk production, energy and mood. It's worth a try!
