spotting

I started a new birth control, Quasense, and am on week 7. On week 5 I missed a dose and doubles up, and since then have been spotting and even passed a huge clot. I'm going away for the weekend with my boyfriend to a bed and breakfast this weekend and need this spotting to stop! Any ideas or suggestions? I take my birth control regularly and I'm 23 before anyone asks. Thanks!!
