sweet/different smelling vagina

Recently I used a contraceptive gel instead of condoms because my new sexual partner cannot use condoms. I'm going in to get paraguard soon, but I noticed a strange change in my vagina. It's been having a lot of discharge, and smells very different...it's not a bad smell, and I know what it's like to have a yeast infection so it can't be that--my worry is that the contraceptive gel either changed the ph balance of my vagina enough to change the smell or I might be pregnant. How soon after conceiving did you notice a difference in vaginal smell--if at all? And have any of you used a contraceptive gel and had it change the way you smell? It's been two full days since I have used the gel and I am still discharging the same amount and have the different smell.
