When to install Car Seat?

When should we install the car seat? I'm 30 wks. We have two, so should we put one in each car or no?

I would install it early incase you deliver early, that way you have it all set to go. Also, where I live the fire department will check that it's installed correctly for free. That way you have piece of mind that it's there and it's correct!

We are waiting because if we get in an accident before he gets here and the car seat is in it than we will have to replace it

I'm installing it after my kids get out of school for the summer, the end of next week. I'll be around 35 weeks. This way, I won't have the carseat in the car for no reason during school pick up and drop off.

With my first we did it in the hospital parking lot the day we went home. This time I did it at 36 weeks!

I put mine in right away at 33weeks. Just incase i went early. I guess I'm going to labor late it seems like it. I'm almost 38 weeks. Still no labor signs

I plan to wait until I have the baby and have the so lock in the car seat before we can leave the hospital.  I don't want it to be sitting in the hot sun in the car to get hot. I'm 30 weeks as well.  With my first it was the same because baby came early.
