Nurx birth control app and my experience
So I've been getting my birth control my Nurx and I wanted to post my experience for anyone thinking about using it.
Before Nurx I used to get my birth control from my doctor and she prescribed Tri-lynia which worked very well. But, my doctor is always extremely busy and she would often forget to refill my prescription causing me to miss pills. She would also cancel my appointments all the time. After finally having enough I decided to try Nurx.
They have a lot of different options which was overwhelming so I decided to let one of their doctors choose a pill for me, they also offer the patch and the ring, along with Plan B.
After filling out a questioner about my weight, age and blood pressure I was prescribed Tri-Septic. My order was free through health insurance and it came in about 2 days.
The doctors online are very nice. You can either call and ask a questions directly or message them online which is much more convenient than calling a doctors office. They respond within 2 hours and are very helpful and thorough.
Recently I needed to order Plan B and they understood that Plan B has a short window in order for it to be effective and they sent the prescription to my local pharmacy within 3 hours! They also told me how to take it and when to begin my birth control after taking it.
So, I am very pleased with Nurx and the customer service is amazing!
