Which one is a compliment to pregnant women?

So, maybe a couple months back I was being hospitalized & the nurse that was there was 8-9 months pregnant, and a whole lot smaller than what I had seen, & I said "Wow, you're really small for almost going into labor!" She said thank you, which I understand.

Second time, my sister was like 23 weeks pregnant (more now) & I saw her for the first time in 4 months or longer & she just happened to be pregnant, but my sister was more filled out prior to becoming pregnant, & I said "Damn mama, you big as hell" & she said "Gee thanks, that's the first thing I wanna hear right now.." (We have a cute relationship 🤣) ..

Anyways, but I see alot of people on here that make comments like "Can't wait to be big" , "I'm ready to start showing" all that mom stuff.. So do pregnant women like looking pregnant? Or do they like looking not pregnant?

(Do they wanna show & be big & all, or do they wanna remain small?) Hopefully this question doesn't offend anybody, if it does.. How tragic.🤷🏼🤣😋
