exclusively breastfeeding help

my son is 3 weeks old. he is exclusively breastfed. he recently went 5 days without a bowel movement and wasn't a happy baby after a call to his ped we decided to give him 1/2 pediatric glycerine suppository it worked like a charm.and he was my happy boy again. the next day he pooped twice on his own like normal but has yet to poop since then today is day 3. is this normal for a baby so young? how often did your breastfed babies poop at this age?
