Strong contractions but no baby?!

Question

Ladies! I'm almost 39 weeks. I keep getting contractions and extreme lower back pain BUT no baby!

Should I start "home tricks" to induce labor at home?

No... if you're having contractions then your body is starting what he needs to do so just give it time and go on a walk

Yes do a lot of walking and have sex. I walked myself into labor with my second. I went to all the huge department stores and just walked around til contractions where 8 min apart then left to drop off oldest and pack hospital bag and went in. Walking helps get things going and also did great help with dialation as by the time I went to hospital I was 7 cms and 100% effaced
