It's always been something I've heard women say to do straight after sex, but why?

It's actually good to go pee before and after! It helps reduce your chance of getting a UTI. I've had a UTI before and the pain was awful, it felt like I was peeing out razor blades lol lesson learned.

Urinary tract Infection. Symptoms include burning while peeing. Urgency have to go now. Fever. Nausea. Back ache. If uti is not treated with antibiotics it'll go to your bladder. Give you a bladder infection then to your kidneys. Those are horrible

It helps flush any bacteria out of your urethra so you get fewer UTIs. Everything is super close together down there and when there is more fluid being spread around bacteria gets in places it ought not be. If you pee it reduces your chances of getting an infection.
