Getting a job while pregnant?

Okay so long story short I moved states to be with my now 'ex fiancé'. I found out I'm pregnant and he made me choose between him or the baby so of course I wanted my baby. I have now moved states again back home and I'm 13 weeks pregnant and now don't have a job. I really want to work but are places even going to hire me if I'm pregnant!? I don't want to live off the governments money I want to work and make sure the baby gets everything it needs 😩 Am I going to struggle with finding work right now 😭

Honestly .... you don't have to tell them and they can't legally ask. 13 weeks still gives you a good amount of time to work before the baby gets here. Go for it!

I just got a job as a Pharmacy tech at Walmart and I'm currently 7 months pregnant.

Legally you don't have to disclose that you're pregnant and legally they can't withhold you a job if you do tell them (though that doesn't stop them from coming up with some other excuse to not hire you). I just wouldn't say anything, especially not in the first interview. But if you get a second job interview and they're serious about hiring you, then I would consider telling them.

I honestly think that they legally cannot discriminate if you are pregnant. You probably should disclose it to them, but they cannot deny you a job simply because you are pregnant. If you are qualified for the job, apply for it and see.
