Is it normal to have a positive OPK 3 days in a row?

Glow keeps changing my cycle. Had strong cramps last night plus off and on all week.

Apparently from what I read is that once you get your first positive OPK then you no longer need to test as they won't be as reliable. This is due to being on your ovulation period and OPKs cannot confirm you are indeed ovulating, only detects the surge. You could ovulate anywhere from 12-48 hours depending on your body. I've tested just for fun and always have a positive OPK for 3 days straight every month so I've been curious exactly what that means. I hope that's helpful.

Yep! Negative OPK today and temp went up slightly! So all is good 😊

Its not completely abnormal - what OPK test type are you using (what brand)?

Keep temping, I would guess your temps go up very soon.

You should ovulate anywhere from 12 to 48 hours after your first positive. Then the day after ovulation you should start to see higher temps (meaning it can take three days to see increased temps after the first positive OPK for some people). After three days of sustained high temps you can confirm ovulation took place. If you ovulate 48 hours after your first positive OPK this cycle then your temps will go up soon, just keep temping!

People with PCOS can have hormone surge but no ovulation (meaning they can have positive OPKs but not see the accompanying temp rise). Do you have PCOS?
