First pregnancy, first miscarriage.

I am almost 10 weeks. Went to see my sweet pea for the first time today. It was all very new for me, and slightly overwhelming. The building lost power due to a power line being fixed and we almost left and rescheduled. But the power came back on right as we were leaving, so they went through with the ultrasound. Baby was measuring at 7 weeks, 1 1/2 centimeters, and no heartbeat.
