I am a first time mom, I was so scared

I am a first time mom, I was so scared. I had to be induced at 36 weeks due to cholestasis. I had to go in Monday 5/15/16, they started with inserting a pill into the vagina to soften the cervix. I got this pill every 4 hours 3 times. It helped to start contractions. They started of kind of mild, it felt as if I had a bad stomach ache and had to use the bathroom. Then they progressively got worst. 5/16/17, that morning they began giving me pitocin in the I.v. And just checked me every hour. I dilated slow at first, I was 3.75cm dilated at about 9:30 am she checked again 45 minutes later I was 8cm. So the dr told me to let her know when I felt pressure like I had to do #2. So of course I felt it like 10 mins later and it was time to push. I did get an epidural, which I was kind of against at first but I could not take the pain anymore. So about 20 mins after receiving it the contraction pain subsided and I was able to sleep for about a half hour so I could rest up for delivery. I began to push at 1:30, it seem like it took forever! But my lilmunchkin was born at 4:14pm. Landon Royce, 4lbs 10oz, 18 in
