My baby is 7 months old and we have been swimming together this week while visiting family. I nursed him at the pool and he fell asleep so I made some shade for him and made sure his swimsuit is still cool and wet so he doesn't get hot. I laid next to him in a chair holding his ha d and occasionally check his swimsuit to make surre he is still cool. This mom walked past me and said to her other friend that I was disgusting to have my child lay out in the sun so I could get a tan (which isn't the case at all). Since we got out of the pool I have reapplied sunscreen, nursed my son, I've wet his swimwear, laid him under shade, and even adjust the shade when the clouds move to ensure hes cool and not overheated and not exposed to the sun. Why are ppl so rude and assume I'm not responsible?!?  PSA don't judge. And don't assume.
