I keep seeing people's bbt charts and they look nothing like mine. I feel like I'm looking at an earthquake monitor when I look at mine. Is there a reason why my temps vary so much Day to day? Is it something I should b concerned with? And does it seem like my temps are a little on the higher side? Please help!!

Are you making sure to test at the same time every morning? One morning I slept in and forgot to set my alarm and my temp was way higher than normal.

Mine was always all over the place. I got pregnant just fine. I don't hold a lot of faith in this method. Ovulation tests were far more reliable and accurate. I can tell you with certainty that I conceived on the evening of Thurs Oct 27th, not because of any temperature chart, but because my ovulation tests said so and at a sizing scan my due date matched that info perfectly - Thurs July 20th. I gave up taking my temp tbh!

Vaginal temperature it's best, also you have to sleep 4hrs straight in order to keep it as accurate as possible, the moment I wake up after 4+hrs I take my bbt, and my readings are "normal" not all crazy as yours 😂

Huge swings like that are usually externally influenced. Sleeping with your mouth open, changes in ambient room temperature or inconsistent sleep patterns/temping times.

Are you using a basil body thermometer bbt)? Even though regular thermometers can have 2 decimal places, they are rarely accurate to the hundredth of a degree.

Are you using a bbt from Walgreens?  The last one I got from Walgreens was giving me crazy reads so I went online to see if there were comments...sure enough...one commenter said "This is not a thermometer.  It is a random number generator."  Lol...I got a random number generator too.

Mine are at high also and I also just started taking no my temperature every morning. 🤷🏽‍♀️

What Grace said. Also, charting isn't 100%. I got pregnant on a loopy chart. Charting doesn't work for everyone. How long have you been ttc?
