Week 8 Sonogram - No Fetus Visable
Hi guys.
I don't want to scare anyone but I wanted to share a little about what I'm dealing with at the moment. My boyfriend and I have been trying to conceive for over a year. Finally, when we least expected it, two pink lines showed up. It was confirmed by 3 different doctors. We thought maybe we were much further along because my FDLP was Jan 4th. But to our surprise I measured at 6weeks. They told me to come back in a week for fetal pole and HR.
I came back 2 weeks later and the sonogram showed no fetus. It was an empty black sac. Measuring at 9 weeks this time. At this time the likleyhood that I will miscarry is 99% but my OB wanted to test the HCG levels today and then Monday 7 am to see if I'm progressing or digressing. If nothing shows they will schedule a D&S. I'm absolutely heartbroken and I just felt so sure about this. Everyone was.
I've read it could bea mistake in equipment but I'm trying to be realistic. I hope everyone has a healthy happy pregnancy and never has to experience this.
