When can I test?

I know there are a lot of these questions out there but mine may be a little different. I'm 23, married, TTC for 2 years and have two angel babies. Recently I've decided to enlist in the military. My recruiter wants to send me to MEPS (my prescreening physical) this week where I would be given a pregnancy test. AF is due 5/25 and I really don't want to find out in front of everyone there. Should I hold off going to MEPS for an another week or should I just test early knowing it may not show up until after AF is due? Thanks in advance ❤️
