Anyone else who have been on Birth Control for 10 years?

Is there anyone else who have been on Birth Control for 10 years now been off the pill for 4 months and having trouble conceiving? Maybe it takes a year. But what is meant to be is always meant to be. 💗

I was on bc for about 17 years. I came off it about a year and a half ago. Started ttc about 6 months ago and got my bfp today.

I was on bc for 16 years. Stopped taking in March 2016, miscarried in November 2016 at 9 weeks and am currently 7 weeks, 3 days. What helped us was tracking ovulation. I have a regulate cycle so it was very easy. I definitely think that is the way to go unless you typically have sex about every other day (we definitely do not!).

I was on bc for 19 years. Been off for2 years. Still trying with one miscarriage. I suspect it does have longer effects, even though doctors will never admit it. If I gave my body progesterone for that long, maybe my body forgot how to make enough progesterone on its own??? I am on my 2nd cycle using progesterone suppository.

I was on bcp for about 17 years. I have been off 5 months. We have been trying to conceive for 4 cycles now. Because the first cycle was really short. And every cycle since had been weird. We just keep trying. I have gotten a few months of positive opk. But nothing yet. I am 32 going to be 33 in 2 weeks. My dh is 37. I just keep praying that it will happen......sooner than later. But i am worried that there could be something wrong. (With either me from Years of bcp or my dh sperm count.) The waiting and not knowing is sooooooooo hard. Baby dust to you and all the wonderful ladies out there trying.

I was on the pill 14 years, conceived after 3 months periods were irregular as well unfortunately MMC in March and currently on second cycle TTC in 2WW at the moment

I was on the pill for 12 years. When I stopped taking the pill, I started tracking my ovulation with OPKs for two months to see that everything was on a regular schedule. I got pregnant the first month trying. Are you using OPKs?

I was on birth control for 9 years. Got pregnant on my first cycle I stopped taking it. Every one told me it takes a few months to wear off (BS) so we were totally surprised. Happy & ready but surprised. I was 25yrs old. And I took some over the counter birth control that they sell in Brazil for $1/month.

I was on bc for over 10 years then off 2-3 months before my first. I went back on bc after having my daughter. We are now trying for number 2 and it's a different story. I believe that your hormones are truly never back to "normal" after a birth. I also feel that when it happens, it happens/meant to be. Hang in there and stay positive!

I've been on birth control for 8 years and it took a couple months for my cycle to regulate. We've been TTC for a couple months now and I'm still not sure my cycle is regulated.
