My sister got her hair done regularly while she was pregnant with my niece and she's healthy. She says it's old wives tales ? I'm still nervous about getting my hair done. But my niece is already three and there was no hard done to her.

I asked my doc he said it was completely fine.

Advice I follow: make sure the area is well ventilated. (Not a small room with no air flow, etc) and I have water nearby and get up to move around during processing.
