when will they book my induction date?

So the midwife said if I haven't had baby by my due date they offer me a sweep which I'm going to decline.

Then she said induction is the next option. Will she book an induction date on my due date?

It probably just depends on their practice and the scheduling. My doctor wouldn't let me go past 41 weeks and scheduled mine for 40+5. A midwife will likely let you go closer to 42. Good luck!

Mine asked us to schedule it/think about the timing at 40 weeks. It caught me off guard and I was really upset! I ended up going into labor the day before our induction date.

Since I'm 35 (Advanced maternal age😒) they scheduled mine in case I didn't come by my due date (I didnt) my due date was a friday so my induction started the Tuesday

Most likely she will or she might even wait until youre 41 weeks to schedule it. Mine told me that if I don't have him by my due date she will check my cervix and if I'm not dilating yet or close to be going into labor she would go ahead and schedule an induction then. Otherwise if I am then she will have me wait another week 😦
