What does it mean when you bleed a little after sex and then some the next?

Me and my so had sex last night and I bled a tiny bit after and then this morning when I got up there were little spots of blood in underwear. And I'm still having bleeding now but it's not heavy. I'm pretty sure it's my period starting but not supposed to start for another 2-3 days but I know you can start early. So please help me out I need opinions!!

That would always happen to me. If i was suppose to start my period that week it would come early after we had sex
