so there's this guy

So I always screw things up with guys. Especially the ones that I really really like. And there's this guy that I work with, his name is Chris, and he is absolutely amazing. He's absolutely incredible and he challenges my opinions and the way I see things and I love talking to him because we actually have intelligent conversations and I genuinely enjoy being around him. He's told me that he's attracted to me and that he enjoys my company just as much as I enjoy his but I'm not sure if he does? We've been talking and hanging out for over a month now, and he's been going through some stuff so I assume he may be busy, and he definitely doesn't have to talk to me all the time but he doesn't ever tell me if he's busy or if he's upset and just doesn't wanna talk. So I get confused and I kinda get mixed signals. I don't wanna say anything because I'm worried I might be coming on too strong. Should I talk to him about it? We already have nice communication when it comes to stuff like this but I'm still testing the waters and I don't want to set him off by saying something that he may or may not be okay with.
