im pregnant with my first, i seriously don't want no baby showers at all because i'm a private independent person and i want to buy everything for my son . is this okay,? did any of you ladies never had baby showers and wanted to buy everything yourself? ☺️

It's not cruel, but you could still have a shower. Just tell everyone you invite not to bring gifts. All the joy of being with friends and family without having them pay for your baby!

Its ok i didnt have a shower for either of my kids mostly because its literally just me my husband my mom his mom and his brother my dad and my husbands gma so not enough to have one and also because im not the type of person to tell people get me this or that i feel like its begging or trying to get others to buy things for your child but that is just my personal opinion

Anyone who wants a shower or more go ahead if you dont want one then thats ok too
