prince and the pauper situation?

So, my boyfriend and I are doing well, but I keep thinking about how different we are economically. I do not make buckets of money And neither does he really, but he makes a substantial amount more than I do. Now, that's not what bothers me. Its the fact that i never grew up with fancy things or a lot of money and he did. I hate dishwashers and i like go garden for example. He lives for using the dishwasher and has a landscaper fix his yard. Hes currently looking at new appArtments and is willing to spend a few grand a month because he wants all the extremeties. If it were me, id want the cheaper apt and do the dirty work myself so i could save money for the future.  Idk, i suppose none of this bothers me exactly, but I'm afraid that it could cause trouble down the line; especially because of the fact that he makes the bulk of the money, so if we ever moved in together, i cant afford to split what he wants, ya know?  Dhas anyone else had trouble with something like this?
