Can you get an std indirectly?
I went over to a fwb's house and he had told me he's clean (supposedly). I had protection (condom) with me just to be safe. We didn't have sex, but while he was putting the condom on in the dark, he had touched the exterior of the condom with his penis. He then flipped it over and put it on correctly.
The condom had lube, the lube on the tip of the condom rubbed off onto my underwear. Because we tried rubbing the outside first. Then eventually we tried him rubbing just the outer vaginal surface.
There was no penetration. Because there was no lube on the tip of the condom, I made him stop rubbing.
So the question is, would this still be an alarm for concern to be checked for sti(s)? Even though there was no penetration? He didn't touch my vaginal area without protection. Would there still be a need to get tested? Such as a pap smear in the future?
