Question on the pill

I just started the Mononessa birth control pill and im pretty sure i know everything but im confused about the 7 pills designated to your period days. I've never had a 7 day period, now it might change with the pill....but im confused. Do i only take the pills each day my period lasts? Or do i take all 7 of the pills even if my period is only 4-5 days?
